This web page is about the meaning of terrorism, the war on drugs and terrorism etc...  It is put here in hopes that it will make several Americans think long and hard about the future of this great country of Ours,  "America."  I want to point out in the opening section of this page, ( just like I do in the last section  ) that "George W. Bush" is no more responsible for the future of our great country the United States of America, than any American citizen that is reading this page. That is the great thing about a Democracy.  It is your overall input as a nation that is supposed to tell our government how we want things done.  So, Click Here to email your Congressman and let your voice be heard.  I would also like to point out, that we are in no way trying to change ANYONE'S political opinions.  We are just trying to get more Americans to think about what is going on in the World around them.  We would also like to see more average American's like you, get involved with Our Government.  After reading this, please think about one more thing,...  do you want more people that think like I do, or more people that think like you do, telling Washington D.C. what is right for the future of America ?

What is a terrorist or terrorism for that matter ?

Terrorism and War

So you could say, any Country that has ever declared war against another Country, is committing an act of terrorism on said other Country.  You could also say, any soldier going to war, is a terrorist committing acts of terrorism against said other Country.
That said.....
How does "George W. Bush" plan to stop terrorism in the world ?
By striking back at Bin Laden  for the acts of terror against the United States on 9/11/01, our Military killed 10,000's, maybe over 100,000  innocent people in Afghanistan.  If you are from Afghanistan or other Mid East Countries, it would be very easy to look at the U.S.A. and their Government as the terrorists.
( Who died and left the U.S.A. or George W. Bush to play the part of God? )
Where does it stop, when does it end, and how many people must die ?
Being a New York State business owner, we received this window sticker in the mail as a promo trying to get us to buy and resell the stickers.  Below I will post a picture of the sticker:

As much as I would like to keep my personal opinion out of this, I have to say something about this sticker:  like, "It looks way too much like a permit to shoot first and ask questions later to me !"   Or, who is the terrorist that came up with this one! Because by "dictionary definition", the creator of this sticker is a terrorist. It does intimidate and instill fear into people, it only took a few test emails for me to know that for sure.  So where does freedom of speech and all of our other civil rights come into all of  this?  You don't even want to know ! ! !  Because if George W. Bush gets his way with all of his anti terrorism policies, you pretty much won't as Americans, have any civil rights left.
 It has been said that negative energy breeds negative energy.  It is also said that positive energy breeds positive energy.  Stickers like this one breed far more negative energy then positive energy.
What are the American people as a whole looking for ?  Do we truly want World Peace ?  If so, do you think we will find peace with guns and bombs ? If so, how many guns and how many bombs will it take?  How many citizens of Earth will be killed looking for that peace ?
On our money, here in America, it says: "In God We Trust" and I am sure our forefathers did.  Now I may believe in God or you may believe in God and it may even say "In God We Trust" on our money.

Now I ask you:
 Do you think the U.S. Government  or George W. Bush really believes or trusts in God ? 
You know the one ..... It is the same God that said "Thou shalt not kill !"
 Doesn't it look a LOT more like George W. thinks he is God, than it looks like he is following "God's words" ?   Because IF God is out there, and IF Good will overpower Evil, and IF you truly believe war can be justified, then bombing and killing 1,000's of innocent people is not how I think God would do it.  Do you?  It seems, that if you truly believe in God, and you truly believe Good will overpower Evil, then about 1,000 well armed Christian men working in small ground troops, should have been all that was needed to handle the current Bin Laden thing. I am sure that if it was God's Will, then He would have guided the troops right to him. Yes, some American soldiers would have died in the ground battles. But what was the true cost of keeping them alive?  The deaths of 1,000's of God's innocent children that were bombed and caught in the crossfire?

At this point I think of Bible stories from when I was young. How many of you have heard the Bible story of David and Goliath?  You know the one where the little man with his slingshot and stone, brings down the Giant.  Now as a Superpower Country, the U.S.A. is acting too much like Goliath, some would say. Going around the world throwing their weight around and acting like they are untouchable.
Let us think about this one for a minute.......
If the American Government keeps killing 1,000's of God's children around the world, what is to keep God from giving some small Country the equivalent of a well placed stone?  Thrown hard and straight at our gonads bringing us to our knees? Keeping us down long enough for the other Country to punch us square in the nose thus tipping us over while "Their Friendly Countries" help them kick us when we are down?

So who are the Terrorists really ?

At the beginning of this page we explained that by dictionary definition, anyone taking part in a war, would be a Terrorist.  Recently we were looking at a web site that said by dictionary definition, the"700 Club", "Pat Robertson", and for that matter almost all "Religious Organizations" by definition are potentially Terrorists. By dictionary definition, anyone who ever repeatedly picked on a younger brother or sister, Terrorist!  Anyone who was, or is a bully in school, Terrorist!  Anyone who has every discriminated against another race, Terrorist! So you see,... some would say that there is a little bit of a terrorist in each and every human that was ever mean.  Some might also say that stomping out terrorists till there is none left, would leave mankind on the verge of extinction.

So as for "President George W. Bush" ending terrorism in the world,
 Sorry George, sad but true... "It is Not going to Happen!"

This pop quiz is much like this web page.  It does not require paper and a pencil, it is just put here to make you think.  I hope that many of you out there stopped more then once when you were reading this web page when you got to a "?" and took the time to think about the question. For those of you that weren't paying attention ..... there are a lot of "?"s on this page. Now, on with the quiz:

If you were in charge, and you had $50,000,000,000 to spend, which of the following answers do you think would help bring world peace the quickest?

A.) Spend the whole $50,000,000,000 on defense?

B.) Spend $10,000,000,000 on defense and the other $40,000,000,000 on feeding and clothing the hungry of the world?

C.) Go with Newton's law that for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. Thus spending $25,000,000,000 on defense and $25,000,000,000 feeding and clothing the hungry of the World, and crossing your fingers that it all works out in the end?

D.) Spend the whole $50,000,000,000  on feeding and clothing the hungry of the world?

Now this was a rhetorical question ( a rhetorical question by definition, requires no answer ) because there is no easy or right answer to THAT question. The world is not all black and white, there are a lot of gray areas around every corner. But one thing I will point out.... If you picked A.)  or  D.) .... You are an extremist, and sometimes extremists are just as dangerous as terrorists.
 

Terrorism And The World Trade Center

Most of the recent talk about Terrorism in this Country started after  9/11/01,  when a group of Terrorists leveled the World Trade Center.  Now this was NOT the first time terrorists had attempted to do this, and 9/11/01 was a very sad day for America when it happened.  After the tragedy it was all that was on TV for several days and everyone seemed to be talking about it no matter where you went....  Now I don't know if I should say it is funny, or just say,... it is very sad for a Country with "In God We Trust" on their money to react the way we did! I heard... "bomb them!",  "There is no question that we are going to war,.. the question is with who?",  "One thing is for sure !... they have just messed with the wrong Country!"  Etc......... Over and over again.  Every time you talked to someone new about what had happened, they almost all had an opinion about it. But most wanted war !
Does that sound to you like America was Trusting in God?
The word "bomb" seemed to be being used a lot more than the word "Why"  By our Government, the News and the American  people as a whole.  Why is that ?
To answer the question as to why did the terrorists ( as we call them ) fly those airplanes into the Towers?  To those of you who missed their answer, it went something like this:
In their opinion, it was not an act of terrorism at all.  It was based on their Religious beliefs. Because they say, in "The Gulf War" We bombed some of their Sacred Holy Ground.  They say we had it coming and their God is behind them in this War.  They say The United States Government, with its bombings in several other Countries over the last 50 years, are the real terrorists of the World.
So who is right and who is wrong here ?
Well,..... Since "In God We Trust", or should I say... If you trust in God? Maybe you should look to the Bible.  You know, the book God left for you to learn about him! And see if there is anything there that might help us sort this out.....  Yup!  Found something... It says here: "Vengeance be mine saith the Lord!"   It does NOT say "Vengeance be the U.S.A.'s saith the Lord" ( Or any other Country or person for that matter)
So what does this tell us ? Pretty much that both sides are wrong, and two wrongs don't make a right !

Before we wrap up this section on the World Trade Center, there is one more thing we should talk about.  As you know on 9/11/01 Terrorists led by Osama  Bin Laden  attacked our Country.  After that happened, no American airplanes were allowed to fly or our military would shoot them down.  But what many of you may not know, is that on 9/12/01, one airplane from Saudi Arabia was allowed into our country, allowed to fly from airport to airport and pick up about 20 passengers to take them safely out of the U.S.A.  So why did this happen, and who were the 20 people ?  ( I hope you are sitting if you don't know the answer ! )  Those 20 people were Relatives of Bin Laden.  So why were they allowed to fly our air space and leave the country when NO Americans could ?  When Bin Laden was the #1 suspect for the terrorist attacks already.  Well according to the news on TV, and roving reporter  Michael Moore, it is because the Bin Laden's and Bushes go way back.   Bin Laden loaned George Bush the money to start his first oil well.  So as a favor to Bin Laden, before pursuing him, George got his close relatives out of the country for him.  The F.B.I. was not happy about this.  When I found out, I wasn't very happy either.  How do you feel about this ?

America and their War on Drugs

 Now we will take a look in another direction in this search for terrorists in the World.  How many of you out there ever looked at the "War on Drugs" as a terrorist act ?  Because by definition, it is.  In fact as I recall, when the United States Government declared their War on Drugs, I read an article in a magazine that said: According to recent Government surveys, 40%-60% of all adult Americans use an illegal drug at least once a month or more.  Taking into consideration that taking a prescription pill that was prescribed to someone else is illegal, and drinking is legal but drinking and driving is use of an illegal drug.  I point this out to help you understand why the numbers are so high.  I also point this out as a setup for my next question.  Is the War on Drugs one of the biggest acts of terrorism in modern times ?  Or just another American Civil War, the Government against it's people ?  It is clearly one or the other, which one do you think it is?  Sorry to do that to you but, since America has a higher percentage of its population in jail than any other country in the World, ! ! !  I felt that question needed to be asked.  Yes sadly there is a third choice, our Government declaring a war against God. 
I have seen a lot of people burned out on drugs in my life.
But not one of them looked  like they needed to go to jail for a long time. Most of them just looked  like they needed to see a doctor.  Some of them needed in house treatment from a doctor, but drug addicts don't need jail !  Yes you read it right !  America, since starting this war on drugs, has been building prisons faster then military bases.  That is right !
 America, the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave has a higher percentage of its population in jail than any other country in the World !
Now you may say... "I support the war on drugs". To that I say, financially we all do ! But even if the Government's figures are right, ( some say with alcohol added in 40% - 60% is way too low with surveys showing 95% of adults in America drinking alcohol at least once in awhile ) 60+ percent of Americans have a brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, friend, coworker etc... someone important in their life that is at risk of going to jail this month in their search of:
 "Life, Liberty, ( Liberty means: Freedom ) and the Pursuit of Happiness."
Now I know that I have made it sound like the War on Drugs is strictly an internal problem for America.  Well it is not.  In fact some would say that the whole War on Terrorism is nothing more then a smoke screen to keep the American people from finding out what George W. Bush is really doing to small countries in South America.   Our Government is currently spraying marijuana and coca fields all over Columbia and other parts of South America trying to kill their cash crops.  The problem now is everybody that lives within 10 miles of any of the spray zones  ( a LOT of people ) are getting sick !  Some have died from their illnesses.  Chemical exposure, could it be a factor ?  Now just in case no one ever took the time to tell you "Mr. George  W. Bush"......  when you go to ANY Other Country and destroy their cash crop........for whatever reason,...  there is NO mistaking this,...... YOU ARE THE TERRORIST ! ! !  You are NOT GOD and it is time you stopped acting like you think you are ! 
Many people around the World would argue that it is a "Fact", that  there are no more dangerous Terrorists in the World today, then those taking part in the War on Drugs.  What do you think about  this 20+ year long ( and getting longer everyday) American War ?  Does your local representative know how you feel about this issue?

Let's look again to the Bible and see if we could guess what God might think about this war on these "so called drugs".
From the Revised Standard  version:

Genesis 1:29 "And God said behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon all of the face of the Earth, and every tree with seed in it's fruit; you shall have them for food."

Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you for being a priest to me.  And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children."

So,... were American law makers trying to say that  they were Better, Smarter, or just Wiser then God when they made these laws that go directly against "God's words" ? 
What kind of a message are we sending to God, by going against his words and making laws against his plants ?   Does that sound like the act of Christians to you ?
Yes, marijuana, coca and for that matter poppy ( also part of the War ) are All seed bearing plants with herbal and medicinal value.  Extracts from all three of these plants are available in the United States, but Only by prescription.
This War on Drugs doesn't seem to be what our forefathers had in mind when they first wrote: 
 Every American will have certain inalienable rights which include: Life, Liberty,... ( liberty means  Freedom ) and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence

Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence? Five signers were captured by the British as traitors and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Continental Army; another had two sons captured. Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they? Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated. But they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured. Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags. Thomas McKean was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward. Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Ellery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Rutledge, and Middleton. At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt. Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. A few weeks later he died from exhaustion and a broken heart. Norris and Livingston suffered similar fates. Such were the stories and sacrifices of the American Revolution. These were not wild-eyed, rabble-rousing ruffians. They were soft-spoken men of means and education. They had security, but they valued liberty more. Standing tall, straight, and unwavering, they pledged: "For the support of this declaration, with firm reliance on the protection of the divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other, our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor." They gave you and me a free and independent America. The history books never told you a lot about what happened in the Revolutionary War. We didn't fight just the British. We were British subjects at that time, and we fought our own government! Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't. So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid. Remember freedom is never free! It's time we get the word out that patriotism is not a sin, and the Fourth of July has more to it than beer, picnics, and baseball games."

Looking to the Bible for answers to Terrorism

As most of you reading this already know, America was based on freedom of Religion.  And as most of you also know, "In God We Trust" was put on our money because a majority of out forefathers did believe and trust in God.  The God the highest percentage of them believed in, is the God talked about in the History book that we call the Bible.  The Bible is the History book for the Christian and other Religions.
  So now that President George W. Bush, ( by his own words a Christian )  has declared war on terrorism and vowed not to stop until all terrorists were stopped.... Let's look once again to the Bible and see what it has to say.  Well from what I see, ( Please feel free to read it and interpret it for yourself )  it pretty much looks like war and acts of terrorism have been going on since a very short time after the birth of mankind.....  It also kind of looks like if you believe "God's Word's",  That acts of Terrorism and war will be with mankind until most of the World's population is dead.
 That said: 
Should George W. Bush rethink his war on Terrorism ?  Is it a win-lose or, lose-lose battle ?  Do you the Americans that are reading this, think your Christian President is acting very much like "Jesus Christ" would act ?
 After all, Christian means:  "Christ like".

So America, Where Do We Go From Here ?

What do We as Americans, want for the future of our "Great Country" ?  That is one that we should all think long and hard about....
If you are an American citizen, in this land of the free and home of the brave, then it is just as much your responsibility as it is George W. Bush's responsibility to see that our country is going in the right direction.  Do you vote ?  Do you send letters, emails, or phone calls to your representatives in Washington D.C. ?  Do you call, write, or ever even talk to your local elected officials ?  Do you talk to family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors about political issues or world events ? 
If you aren't doing all of the things listed in the paragraph above,
then you are not doing all that you can ! 

 Just like the 56 men that signed the Declaration of Independence, you as Americans have to decide if you are going to let other people and Governments run your lives, or is it time to take a stand for freedom ?  You also should ask yourself... "Is freedom still alive and well in our Great Nation, The United States of America" ?  How United are We ?  With the War on Drugs that is affecting all Americans, and the war on terrorism that affects all Americans, how united are we ?  It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the wars on drugs and terrorism !  What does matter is that Washington knows how you feel about the issues.  Without your input, they will continue to do things the same way they are now.  Is that what you want ? ?   So, be an American and tell your Government what you think they should do !  That is the great thing about a Democracy, it is your overall input as a Nation that is supposed  to set how our Government is run.  So get those emails, letters, and phone calls under way before someone else decides the future of this Great Land of Ours.
