The Misleader, also known as The Daily Mislead, is a daily email
chronicle that is put together and sent out by our friends at
MoveOn.org.
MoveOn started
Mislead
in mid September of 2003.
To those of you who aren't familiar with
MoveOn, they
are one of the most used and most respected interactive political
websites in America.
MoveOn was
started during the
Clinton Administration to gather and share
information with the public about the millions of tax dollars that
were being wasted on digging up dirt on our President's personal life.
Over the past few years
MoveOn has grown
and changed at a surprising rate.
(
MoveOn.org, over
2.4 million members and growing.)
MoveOn conducts online surveys to gather public opinions about the
Democratic candidates for the 2004 election, top news stories, and
bills that are about to be voted on in Congress. MoveOn's online
surveys, polls, active member base, investigative reporting etc... has
made them known throughout the world as a reputable American news
source. In fact, Congress has re-voted on laws changing the final out
come,
because of input from MoveOn and their members.
MoveOn is there
to help protect the Constitution of the United States of America.
In 2003, Investigating the Bush Administrations actions, they
uncovered several lies that the Bush Administrations had spread to the
world.
Reporting on these lies and trying to find the truth, was the the
basis for The Daily Mislead.

Bush Misleads on Supporting
Troops
On the campaign trail, Bush has repeatedly presented himself as the
candidate who will unquestioningly provide American troops with the
resources they need. At a last minute stop in Dallas yesterday, Bush
said "there's nothing complicated about supporting our troops in
combat."1 But there is mounting evidence that Bush
sent troops to war without essential equipment.

Vice President Dick Cheney has insisted that criticism of his former
company Halliburton is unwarranted and politically motivated. On
October 5th, at the vice-presidential debate, Cheney said, "the reason
they keep mentioning Halliburton is because they're trying to throw up
a smokescreen. They know the charges are false...there's no substance
