New element discovered
A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the
heaviest chemical element yet known to science.

The new element has been named Governmentium. Governmentium has
1 neutron,
12 assistant neutrons,
75 deputy neutrons,
and 11 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are
surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
Since governmentium has no electrons, it is inert. However, it can be
detected as it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.
A minute amount of governmentium causes one reaction to take over 4 days
to complete when it would normally take less than a second.

Governmentium has a normal half-life of 2 to 4 years; it does not decay,
but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the
assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

In fact, governmentium mass will actually increase over time, since each
reorganization causes some morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to
speculate that governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain
quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as Critical Morass.

6/14/2005 - On This Day in History in 1954...
1954 - U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower signs a bill into law that places the words
 "under God" to the United States' Pledge of Allegiance.

Editor's Note: A couple of weeks ago we were watching an old (pre WWII ) Porky Pig cartoon.  The cartoon was about the NEED for every American to know and understand our 'Pledge of Allegiance'.  In the cartoon Porky fell asleep and he had a dream.  The dream was our forefathers telling Porky what it took for America to become 'The Land of The Free and The Home of The Brave' and why it was so important for every American child to know and understand our 'Pledge of Allegiance'.  Porky awoke from his dream, put his hand on his heart and proudly said the Pledge of Allegiance without the words 'Under God', because they hadn't been added yet.

With or without those 2 words, I say it's past time to get the Pledge of Allegiance back into our schools that no longer say the pledge of allegiance every morning.  Yes half of the states are still requiring that the pledge be taught, but several states don't use it and probably won't until this several year old legal issue is settled.

Think about it... Our Congressmen and Senators have made some schools in America stop teaching one of the most important pieces of American history, because they can't decide what to do with 2 words that were added to the document in 1954.

The really scary part... Those same people that can't decide what to do with 2 words that were added to (thus altering) a historical document in 1954, are the very same people deciding what laws we should live by, what countries we should invade, if our soldiers should be home or fighting illegal wars half way around the world, what gets put on the news for you to see and what they don't want you to know about, where your tax dollars are spent, when they think we want them to have a pay raise, etc...  But don't worry about them, after all it's your best interests that they have in their hearts...
